A really esoteric one ! I was reading about demonology and got inspired by the invocation rituals so I though "hey, let's make music about invoking Baal but stick to producing deep loud sounds and never ever, ever, ever, ever actually try to get the motherfucker in the same astral plane as me !". So, yeah, in a sense, this is a typical dark ambient record of heavily serious stuff, treated with a heavily serious mood but never to be taken heavily serious about. See Lustmord ? This bloke makes the loudest and most obscure sounds ever produced to man but you'll never see him get involved in actual esoteric bullshit unless it's for a laugh. So, yeah, dark ambient is not a genre to be taken seriously, it's just grindcore fun for depressed people. And if you're taking it seriously, then it's highly probable you've understood nothing at all about it. You've been warned !
